How to get access to Resource Editor and Provider

Please note that due to infrastructure changes there is no longer possibility to Sign-In using B2C SSO account (email address).
For Sign-In, it is required to have ŠKODA B2B account and proper user rights assigned for applications via Škoda B2B Portal. If you are not aware of how to get Škoda B2B account or how to apply for required user rights, please contact your ŠKODA AUTO key user contact for Resource Editor to raise a "Rollout Task" ticket in CEMSUPP JIRA project or follow the steps below.

How to create a request for user rights

The user can request user rights via ŠKODA B2B Portal. The portal is available on URL: https://portal.skoda-auto.com/

Follow the steps:

1. Navigate to „Requests“ section of the Škoda B2B portal and confirm „Create new request“.

2. Select the respective user, whom the user rights should be assigned and choose the request for „Application“.

3. Search for application „B2C ŠKODA Resource Editor“ and choose the respective application or culture of the application.

When the request is submitted, the request for user rights is being approved or declined by the GEKO (Business Owner) of the Resource Editor application. Once either approved or declined, the user is informed via notification email.
The list of GEKOs (Business Owners) of Resource Editor can be found on ŠKODA B2B portal within the Application Catalogue.

User Rights Hierarchy of managing translations for applications:

1. Access and user rights to manage culture of translated application

Responsibility for translations of the language culture - the user is an administrator of specific language culture of the translated application. User rights can be requested via ŠKODA B2B portal by choosing respective language culture of the translated application (for example - C3PO user en-GB).

2. Access and user rights to manage entire translated application

Responsibility for all translations of the culture - The user is an administrator of all language cultures of the translated application with possibility to create also new language cultures. User rights can be requested via ŠKODA B2B portal by choosing the respective application (for example - C3PO default).

3. Access and user rights to manage whole Resource Editor (manage everything)

Responsibility for creating applications, managing translations in all applications, granting access to users based on created requests via ŠKODA B2B Portal - Request the ŠKODA HQ Administrator user rights.
